Expenses have increased - in which cities renting an apartment will 'eat' the salary.

Renting housing in Ukraine is marked by significant differences between various regions. Prices vary sharply depending on demand, security level, and economic activity.
According to the LUN portal, the highest prices for renting one-room apartments are observed in Kyiv, while in Kharkiv similar housing is five times cheaper.
Rental prices for two-room apartments in the capital are also impressive: up to 28,000 UAH per month for a 'two-room' and 47,500 UAH for a 'three-room'. In Kharkiv, prices are significantly lower.
In 2025, the highest price growth for renting apartments was observed in Odesa, Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, and Lviv.
Data on how much Ukrainians spend on renting apartments show that housing affordability varies depending on the city. For example, in Kharkiv and Zaporizhia, rent is cheaper than in Lviv or Kyiv.
It is forecasted that in 2025 renting housing will become a challenging financial task for many Ukrainians, especially in large cities.
