Survey results on the idea of a 30-day ceasefire
The survey was conducted from March 12 to 22, where respondents were offered six interpretations of the idea of a 30-day ceasefire. According to KIIS, 77% of those surveyed expressed a positive interpretation of the proposal, of which 47% called it a way to show that Russia does not want peace or that Russia violates agreements. Another 12% spoke about a way to unblock military aid, while 18% called the ceasefire a step toward ending the war on terms acceptable to Ukraine.
Of the three negative options, 17% of respondents chose alternation, a false step, or a step towards capitulation.
Attitude towards Russian demands
After the conversation between the US president and the Kremlin leader, respondents were asked about their attitude towards the demands voiced by Putin. 79% categorically reject the Russian demands, while 16% see them as a tough option. KIIS notes that the absolute majority in all regions of Ukraine reject the demands of the Russian Federation.
Attitude towards a temporary ceasefire
62% of respondents categorically do not support a temporary ceasefire without security guarantees.
