I love Russia. Famous Italian footballer made a scandalous statement.

Italian footballer Panucchi expressed his love for Russia
Famous Italian footballer Cristian Panucchi arrived in Moscow for a padel tournament and made an unexpected statement about Russia. In an interview with propaganda media, Panucchi stated: 'For me, Russia was an incredible experience, I really loved Moscow. Maybe I will come back here in the future. I feel love for Russia. I really enjoy working with the professionals of this country.'
Cristian Panucchi is known for playing for teams such as Real Madrid, and Italian clubs Milan, Inter, and Roma. He has won the UEFA Champions League twice. It is also worth noting that from 2012 to 2014, Panucchi was part of the coaching staff of the Russian national team under Fabio Capello.
It should also be noted that in 2023 Cristian Panucchi participated in the charity match Game4Ukraine in support of Ukraine.
Interestingly, recently American actor and singer Jared Leto also made a similar statement about Russia. While at a concert in Serbia, Leto noted that he feels a lot of Russian energy thanks to Russian audiences. This made him think about a trip to Moscow and Saint Petersburg with his band Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Sports Arbitration Court in Lausanne upheld Tymoshchuk's appeal
It is also worth noting that the Sports Arbitration Court (CAS) in Lausanne accepted the appeal of Zenit's coach Anatoliy Tymoshchuk regarding the decision of the disciplinary committee of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF). Tymoshchuk requested to cancel the sanctions that were imposed on him due to his work in Russia. The UAF stripped Tymoshchuk of all titles, coaching licenses, and expelled him from the official register of national teams in March 2022.
