How Odessa is preparing for the heating season: authorities' response.

Deputy Mayor of Odessa Anna Pozdnyakova and Director of the Department of City Management Leonid Grebenyuk held a meeting on the preparation of the city for the 2024-2025 heating season.

The meeting was attended by heads of municipal enterprises, representatives of the Department of Education and Science, the Department of Labor and Social Policy, the Department of Culture, International Cooperation and European Integration, district administrations, JSC "Odessa CHPP", JSC "Odessagaz", and the Branch "Infoksvodokanal".

As noted by Anna Pozdnyakova, in the new heating season, significant emphasis will be placed on ensuring backup power sources, as was the case last year.

From now on, such meetings will be held weekly.

The Department of City Management also reminded that the decision to start the heating season will be made taking into account the average daily air temperature, specifically when the average daily temperature drops to +8 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days.
