How to Apply for Pension Online via Diia.Sign: Step-by-Step Guide.

The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has informed that Ukrainians can apply for a pension remotely, without visiting the Pension Fund of Ukraine. To do this, you need to use Diia.Sign - a simplified analog of the qualified electronic signature (QES).

Necessary Steps Before Applying for Pension

Before starting the online pension application procedure, you need to:

1. Download and install the 'Diia' mobile application on your smartphone
2. Activate the Diia.Sign service in the app
3. Prepare scanned copies of the necessary documents that should:
   • be scanned from originals
   • have a clear and readable image
   • be saved in JPG or PDF formats
   • not exceed the size of 1 MB for each file
   • have names corresponding to the type of document

Steps for Submitting the Application

To apply for pension remotely through the PFU web portal, follow these steps:

1. Authorization on the web portal:
   • Open the PFU electronic services web portal (
   • Click 'Login' in the upper right corner
   • Select the option 'Log into the system' via 'Diia.Sign'
   • Click 'Get code for login'
   • Scan the QR code using the 'Diia' app on your smartphone
