Russia has made the decision to annex certain regions of Ukraine, including Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Mykolaiv. These plans are causing serious resonance and raising questions about the future political landscape in Ukraine. Perhaps these are merely maneuvers before important negotiations, or Russia indeed intends to alter the geopolitical map of the region.
American analysts assert that Russia is counting on a prolonged war in Ukraine. They emphasize the strategy of 'creeping victory,' under which Putin continues to expand his influence over Ukrainian territory. This approach forces NATO to reassess its strategies regarding the conflict and may lead to a new phase in the Ukrainian crisis.
Given the outlined plans and the analyses of American experts, it becomes clear that the situation in Ukraine may escalate in the near future. Russia's plans, particularly concerning the annexation of certain regions and the strategy of a prolonged war, threaten security and stability in the region, and may also have further negative consequences for the confrontation in Ukraine.
