North Korea launched a ballistic missile again
Last night, September 18, North Korea launched a ballistic missile towards the East Sea. According to South Korean and Japanese media, the missile fell outside Japan's exclusive economic zone. This is reported by the South Korean publication Yonhap News and the Japanese news agency NHK.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea confirmed the launch, but have not yet disclosed details regarding the type and characteristics of the missile.
The Japanese government also reported the launch of "what appears to be a ballistic missile" from the DPRK.
According to state media, last Thursday the DPRK tested a new 600 mm multiple rocket launcher system.
