Emergency Power Outages in Ukraine: When Will Restrictions for Household Consumers Be Lifted.

Today, December 23, at 14:10, emergency power outages began in several regions of Ukraine. This was reported by 'Ukrenergo'.
The reason for the outages is the urgent need to replace damaged equipment and the loss of certain generating capacities due to shelling.
“As soon as the work is completed, the restrictions for household consumers will be lifted,” the statement says.
The work should be completed by 17:00.
Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore the energy infrastructure damaged by the Russians.
If you have electricity, do not immediately turn on several powerful devices, Ukrenergo adds.
“Ukrenergo” ordered urgent disconnections due to excessive electricity consumption in Kyiv and Dnipro. It is necessary to enter the elevator and use energy-intensive devices with caution,” said Yasno CEO Serhiy Kovalenko. Urgent outages were also reported in Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, and Donetsk region.
Since December 16, new blackout schedules recommended by the Ministry of Energy have been in effect in Ukraine. This will help to more accurately predict outages and reduce the number of consumers without electricity.
Distribution system operators will set the minimum interval of 30 minutes, and the white zones will have electricity for at least 3 hours and 30 minutes.
It should be noted that on December 13, the Russian Federation attacked the energy facilities of Ukraine again, which led to increased electricity consumption restrictions.
