Groundhog Timko made a prediction for this year's spring.

Groundhog Timko III shared a forecast regarding the spring of 2025
Scientists from Kharkiv National University named after Karazin have published the forecast of groundhog Timko III from Kharkiv region regarding the spring of 2025.
Researchers claim that a mild winter has a significant impact on groundhogs, which have already woken up from hibernation. However, constant shelling in the frontline zone has caused them stress, and therefore they cannot properly rest. This has been going on for the third year in a row.
The university’s prophet groundhog Timko III also cannot sleep peacefully and is in an active state. For this reason, it is very dangerous for him to travel to the university's biostation in Haidary. Therefore, Timko made his forecast right from his place of residence - the biological steppe station in Velykoburlutska community of Kupiansk district.
The forecast of the groundhog was deciphered by the head of the biostation of Karazin University, Volodymyr Grubnyk: 'This year spring has not yet arrived. It will come, but there may be slight frosts and snow on the ground.'
The university believes that this spring will not only be warm but also bring many positive news. And next year we will all sleep together with Timko under the peaceful Ukrainian sky!
Let us remind you that on February 2, Ukraine and the whole world celebrate Groundhog Day. On this day, people observe the behavior of groundhogs to determine what spring will be like and when it will come. If the groundhog comes out of its burrow and does not see its shadow, a warm and early spring is expected.
