President Joe Biden reported that there may have been a second assassination attempt on Donald Trump. He ordered the authorities to use all resources to protect the politician. Federal law enforcement agencies are investigating the incident, and the suspect is in custody.
Biden highly praised the work of the Secret Service and their law enforcement partners for their vigilance and efforts in ensuring Trump's safety. He noted that the former president was unharmed and that the investigation of the incident is ongoing.
The President emphasized that there should be no place for political or any other violence in America. He committed his team to continue providing the Secret Service with all the resources and protective measures necessary for Trump's safety.
It is known that Trump was playing golf at his club in Florida. The police are investigating an incident in which a Secret Service agent opened fire on an armed individual. According to the county sheriff, the suspect hid near the fence several hundred yards from Trump. The FBI considers this shooting to be a possible assassination attempt on the former president.
