Ukraine's Energy Minister German Galushchenko announced that banks have approved the issuance of loans for the installation of solar systems in the amount of 1 billion hryvnias.
Galushchenko noted that loans worth hundreds of millions of hryvnias have already been issued.
"About 20 banks have joined the initiative to issue zero-interest loans for the installation of solar systems in households. I am very pleased with this. Currently, applications for 1 billion UAH have already been approved, and hundreds of millions have already been issued," said Galushchenko.
The minister also emphasized that there are several programs in Ukraine for the installation of solar systems that are functioning well.
