The majority of Poles refuse to undergo military training.

According to a survey by Opinia24, most Poles do not intend to undergo military training. Earlier, Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that simplified military service would be available to all citizens of Poland, but the survey results showed that only 35% of Poles are interested in this. Men showed more interest than women, and the highest number of those wanting to receive training are among people aged 50 to 59.
The government is working on a military training model for every adult man in the event of war. This training will be available at two levels - basic and advanced. Additionally, Poland has increased its security level and created a new brigade at the border with Russia.
Polish President Andrzej Duda has also called on the United States to place nuclear weapons in Poland to deter Russian aggression.
