Most residents of Western Europe consider Trump a threat to security - survey.

Most residents of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom believe that Donald Trump poses a serious threat to peace and security in Europe, according to a survey conducted by YouGov.
Europeans' fear has intensified following Trump's quarrel with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the cessation of American military aid to Kyiv.
“This serious threat has raised concerns in many countries across Europe. The number of those who see Trump as a threat varies from 58% in Italy to 78% in the United Kingdom. In France, this figure is 69%, in Germany - 74%, and in Spain - 75%,” said a representative of YouGov.
It has also turned out that most surveyed residents of European countries have a negative attitude towards Donald Trump. Between 63% and 80% of residents in these countries expressed negative feelings towards him.
In many countries, including France, Germany, and Italy, a significant portion of respondents do not believe in the ability of other Western allies to compensate for the withdrawal of the US and their support for Ukraine.
“This shows the pessimistic mood prevailing in Europe regarding Ukraine's prospects without US support. Only a third of Spaniards and Britons believe in the ability of other Western allies to compensate for the US withdrawal,” reported a representative of the research organization.
Despite this, some surveyed Europeans support Ukraine and wish for its victory. In the United Kingdom, this turned out to be 67% of respondents, in Spain - 57%, in Germany - 52%, in France - 50%, and in Italy - 34%. At the same Time, very few respondents support Russia - only between 2% and 7%.
The study also revealed that many Britons and Spaniards have concerns about the future security of Europe. About two-thirds of Britons (65%) and nearly half of Spaniards (55%) believe that Russia may attack Ukraine again within 10 years after a possible peace agreement. Similar opinions are shared by about half of the French and Germans.
