Britain considers sending peacekeepers to Ukraine: statement from the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, noted that he intends to send British troops to Ukraine to secure a peace agreement. He stated this in an article for The Telegraph.
This statement was made for the first Time, and it occurred before a meeting with European leaders in Paris. The meeting was scheduled after European leaders were not invited to previous peace talks between the USA and Russia, and also due to hints from high-ranking representatives of Donald Trump's administration on reducing US security support for Europe.
Starmer emphasized that the decision to deploy British troops would increase pressure on other allies, especially Germany, for public support of ideas about using European peacekeeping forces in Ukraine. He also expressed the opinion that the United Kingdom could play a special role in the peace process in Ukraine, acting as a bridge between Europe and the USA.
Regarding the deployment of troops, it is anticipated that Ukrainians will be stationed on the new border, while troops from other European countries will be positioned behind them. However, whether allies will be willing to send enough soldiers to make peacekeeping forces effective remains unclear. Some estimates suggest that 100,000 servicemen may be needed.
The future security of the continent
The Prime Minister's article for The Telegraph also asserts that these days before determining the future security of the continent are crucial. Starmer insists that peace is possible through strength, while weakness leads to war. He calls on everyone to step forward and states that the United Kingdom will take its rightful place in order to protect values and freedom, as well as ensure national security.
Starmer plans to discuss the agreements reached at the Paris talks with President Trump in Washington by the end of the month. However, there are disagreements in the United Kingdom regarding defense spending and its increase in the future.
