Budget: what pensions will be in 2025.

In 2025, the minimum pension for retirees will remain unchanged, according to 24 Kanal citing the draft law on Ukraine's Budget Declaration for 2025-2027.
Currently, the minimum pension is 2,361 hryvnias, while the maximum is 23,610 hryvnias. Regardless, these figures will remain unchanged next year.
However, the next pension indexation in Ukraine will take place in March 2025.
According to Lydia Tkachenko, a senior researcher at the Institute of Demography and Social Research, the potential increases in payments for retirees will only be known at the beginning of next year.
'The dynamics of salaries have a significant seasonality. The Pension Fund publishes statistics on the average salary from which the ESV is paid, and there was a significant increase in the second quarter. So it is quite possible that pensions will increase by 10-12%. Last year this figure was about 6%', the expert explained.
She added that the distribution of retirees by pension size is very uneven.
In Ukraine, about half of the people receive pensions ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 hryvnias, and there are more than a million individuals who receive pensions over 10,000 hryvnias.
