Food prices in Ukraine continue to rise
Food prices in Ukraine continue to rise. Comparing current average prices with the average monthly prices in August 2024 shows a significant increase in a number of goods.
This was reported by "Hvylya", referring to data from the "Ministry of Finance".
Butter "Yagotinske" (73%, 200 g) increased slightly by 62 kopecks, from 82.53 UAH to 83.15 UAH.
The highest price increase is observed in the sausage category. For example, sausage "Alan Braunschweiger" (1 kg) increased in price by 13.09 UAH, reaching 915.15 UAH, and sausage "Globine salami" (460 g) increased by 13.28 UAH and now costs 127.09 UAH.
The highest price increase affected hard cheeses. Cheese "Lanki Gora" (45%, 1 kg) added 35.61 UAH, reaching a mark of 511.47 UAH. Its smaller package (285 g) increased by 9 UAH to 149 UAH. However, there are exceptions: cheese "Como traditional" (50%, 1 kg) showed a slight decrease in cost by 10.96 UAH, falling to 408.93 UAH.
