Sandwiches are unaffordable: sausage and cheese prices have skyrocketed in Ukraine.


Prices for meat and dairy products in the Ukrainian market have changed differently over the month. According to monitoring data from "Minfin", the portal "Khvilya" analyzed changes in the prices of sausages, frankfurters, and hard cheese in September compared to August.
The price of Alan Braunschweig smoked sausage rose by 1.45% from 902.06 UAH to 915.15 UAH per kilogram. Globino boiled-smoked salami sausage remained at the level of 273.80 UAH per kilogram.
The price of frankfurters with cheese remained unchanged at 244.60 UAH per kilogram. Alan Geneva frankfurters with cheese increased in price by 0.07% from 358.76 UAH to 359.00 UAH per kilogram. Yatran milk frankfurters became cheaper by 0.68% from 112.59 UAH to 113.35 UAH per kilogram.
The price of hard cheeses generally increased. The price of Lanka Gora Dutch cheese 45% increased by 2.56% from 475.86 UAH to 463.47 UAH per kilogram. A pack of Lanka Gora Dutch cheese 45% rose in price by 6.43% from 140.00 UAH to 149.00 UAH. Komo traditional cheese 50% fell in price by 3.76% from 419.89 UAH to 404.10 UAH per kilogram.
It is also noted that prices for eggs in supermarkets and markets in Kyiv and Odesa differ.
