Protection of energy facilities from Russian attacks continues
At the moment, it is impossible to specify under what conditions Ukrainians will undergo the winter heating season. The state is preparing for winter and possible Russian attacks, protecting energy facilities with first and second levels of protection.
As it became known, due to the cancellation of the hourly shutdown schedules from September 9, the level of electricity consumption in Ukraine is increasing.
By the way, the State Agency for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure has begun the construction of the third level of passive protection at NEC "Ukrenergo" substations, but international partners do not see the feasibility of financing such an expensive project until testing of this technology is conducted.
In addition, the European Commission is working on increasing the maximum volume of electricity supplies to Ukraine.
As reported, the former head of "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytskyi reported that Ukrainian energy facilities will have three levels of protection in the form of engineering fortifications in case of Russian attacks.
