Is there a threat from Belgorod region: border guards assess the situation.

Russia is not deploying additional forces in the Belgorod region, which borders on Ukraine, according to the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko. He also notes that although Russia has a certain amount of forces and means in its region, no military reinforcement or increase is recorded.
Demchenko claims that the opponent is expecting 'certain actions' and is preparing for them. The main task of Ukrainian border guards is to take defensive positions on the territory of Ukraine, as the opponent may initiate any actions at any moment.
Earlier, Ukrainian forces repelled the Belgorod region, where fierce fighting is ongoing. Russian forces, it seems, were more prepared for the arrival of the Armed Forces of Ukraine compared to the Kursk region.
Russia began withdrawing part of its troops from Ukraine in response to the invasion of Ukrainian forces into the Kursk region.
