Is Ukraine confiscating the apartment of Taisia Povaliy's son? Ministry of Justice's response.

The Ministry of Justice does not intend to confiscate the apartment belonging to Taisia Povaliy's son, Denis. This was announced during a meeting of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
The Ministry emphasized that the property was transferred as a gift back in 2011 and there is no evidence that it is controlled by a sanctioned person (Denis's mother).
It was also noted that the apartment was previously owned by Denis's mother, who received it as a gift from the Party of Regions. Taisia Povaliy was elected a People's Deputy from this party in the 2012 parliamentary elections.
It was also noted that the Povaliy family left Ukraine in the summer of 2022 and did not return.
The material rights to the music and lyrics of some of Taisia Povaliy's songs are also planned to be taken away.
Counter-sanctions against Taisia Povaliy
In October 2022, President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed personal sanctions on Taisia Povaliy for five years. According to the Security Service, she justifies the RF's war against Ukraine.
Taisia Povaliy obtained Russian citizenship in August 2023 and registered an individual enterprise in Russia.
Her further actions are planned to be investigated.
