The Cost of War: How Much Russia Spends on Missile and Drone Production Monthly.


According to an investigation by Forbes Ukraine, Russia spends more than a billion dollars a month on the production of missiles and drones. The production of missiles alone costs the RF about 1.1 billion dollars per month, while drones cost roughly 100 million dollars.
The main share of Russia's expenses comprises the production of Kh-101 type cruise missiles, on which 585 million dollars are spent monthly. Significant funds also went to 'Kalibrs' - 228 million dollars per month. Russia produces an average of 45 Kh-101 missiles and 35 'Kalibrs' monthly.
Ballistic missiles 'Iskander-K' and 'Oniks' cost the Russian budget 38 and 13 million dollars respectively for the production of 10-15 'Iskanders-K' and up to 10 'Oniks'. Russia spends 135 and 60 million dollars monthly on 'Iskanders-M' and 'Kinzhal' respectively. The quantity of missiles produced is around 45 'Iskanders' and up to 6 'Kinzhal'.
It is worth noting separately that the Russian factory produces Shahed-136 type kamikaze drones for about 100 million dollars monthly, making over 500 units.
It is noteworthy that China also assists Russia in armament by supplying components for their drones.
