Many Ukrainians are interested in how meat, cheese, milk, and bread prices differ in supermarkets of Ukraine, Germany, and Poland. Many Ukrainians have moved to these countries, so the comparison of prices is of particular interest.
Ukraine
In Ukraine, various products can be found at different prices. Pork ribs are the most affordable type of meat, costing an average of 176.30 UAH/kg. The neck is the most expensive - 269.35 UAH/kg. The average price for shashlik is 266.78 UAH/kg, and brisket and shoulder cost 178.55 UAH/kg and 187.20 UAH/kg respectively.
In the dairy segment, cheeses attract special attention. Dutch 'Zveni Hora' with 45% fat content costs 563.02 UAH/kg. Traditional cheese 'Como' with 50% fat content is more affordable, costing 508.33 UAH/kg. Milk 'Prostokvashino' and 'Yagotynske' cost 48.89 UAH and 50.95 UAH per package respectively.
In the bakery segment, leaders are classic wheat bread (38.75 UAH) and 'Tsar Khlib' (41.55 UAH per loaf).
Germany
In the German supermarket Lidl, pork ribs cost 392.89 UAH, steak - 661.98 UAH, and pork chops - 206.58 UAH. Cheddar cheese - 165.19 UAH, mozzarella - 81.55 UAH, and parmesan - 181.74 UAH.
Milk in Germany costs from 62.51 UAH to 125.03 UAH. Farmers' bread - 165.18 UAH, country baguette - 82.38 UAH, classic baguette - 82.38 UAH.
Poland
In the Polish supermarket Biedronka, meat can be purchased for prices ranging from 83.65 UAH to 361.35 UAH, including ribs, which cost 188 UAH. Baguette - 26.63 UAH, and loaf - 39.10 UAH. Cheese - 39.5 UAH.
The mentioned prices are promotional and may vary. Conclusion: prices for products in these countries differ significantly.
