CNN on Trump's Special Envoy Plan: Freezing the Front and Gradual Lifting of Sanctions on Russia.

Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, has developed a plan to end the war. A report from the well-known news outlet CNN reveals that this document contains specific steps to achieve peace.
One of the main elements of the plan is an immediate ceasefire and the creation of a demilitarized zone along the front line. Thus, Russia will receive partial relief from sanctions, and the lifting will occur after the signing of a peace treaty.
According to the plan, the USA will provide financial assistance to Ukraine through loans, but this will depend on Kyiv's readiness to negotiate with Moscow. Ukraine will be able to continue its claims on occupied territories, but will have to resolve this through diplomatic means.
Regarding the funding for Ukraine's reconstruction, it is proposed to introduce a special levy on Russian energy exports. It also mentions the postponement of Ukraine's NATO membership process, which is to be exchanged for a comprehensive peace treaty with security guarantees.
The document acknowledges that achieving a diplomatic breakthrough is unlikely while Putin remains in power.
