Four-time Olympic champion stated that he wants to make 'Hiroshima' out of part of Ukraine.

Biathlete from Russia expressed hatred towards Ukraine
Oleksandr Tikhonov, a four-Time Olympic champion in biathlon, made a statement about his hatred for the Nazis, who, in his opinion, are present in Ukraine. In an interview with Russian propagandists, he said: 'I would have made Hiroshima out of that part of Ukraine where there are Nazis a long time ago, and the whole world could live in peace. Not all of Ukraine, of course, only the Nazis. At the same time, it would hurt the English too.'
Tikhonov was outraged by the response of the goalkeeper of the 'Kremenchuk' club and the Ukrainian national team, Eduard Zakharchenko, who wished the Russian-born attacker Oleksandr Ovechkin that 'he would have his legs torn off.'
Hiroshima - the first victim of nuclear weapons
The bombing of Hiroshima occurred at the end of World War II when the USA dropped a nuclear bomb on the Japanese city. This act took place on August 6, 1945, and became the first use of nuclear weapons in wartime. The civilian population of Hiroshima suffered as a result of this bombing, and the city itself was completely destroyed.
Ukraine eliminated two Russian occupiers
The Ukrainian Defense Forces reported the elimination of two Russian occupiers - Mergen Budayev and Bator Erdiniev. Mergen Budayev was a boxer and he participated in hostilities against Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian aggression. Defending his homeland, he received several injuries and always returned to the front. His call sign was 'Tungus'. Bator Erdiniev was a wrestler and also joined the occupying forces. He was the commander of a tank company and was eliminated in combat in Donetsk region. The farewell to the occupiers took place in Ulan-Ude and the city of Ulan-Ude.
Analysis:
Statements from athletes reflect animosity and hatred between Ukraine and Russia. This indicates the tension in relations between these countries and the continuation of the armed conflict. The elimination of the occupiers shows that Ukraine actively defends its territory and fights against Russian aggression.
