The State Logistics Operator Strengthens Control over Supply Schedules of Goods for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Details.

The State Logistics Operator (DLO), which is responsible for procurement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced the strengthening of control over adherence to the production schedule of material goods. The budget for these procurements amounts to over 23 billion hryvnias and should be used effectively in accordance with deadlines and quality.

In addition to documentary confirmation, we want to see the process with our own eyes. This allows us to respond promptly to potential risks that, unfortunately, occurred in 2024,' said Victoria Vinogradova, director of the DLO material goods program.

According to Vinogradova, the main problems are the overload of suppliers with contracts, underestimating orders, and issues with raw material supply.

We are currently systematically monitoring the availability of materials, the pace of order fulfillment, and the compliance of products with approved standards. This allows us to detect problems in a timely manner and make appropriate decisions,' said Vinogradova.

The DLO has already visited the workshops of entrepreneurs 14 times this year and systematically checks the quality of material goods supply. Special attention is paid to new players in the market and companies with a low level of commitment fulfillment.

In case of violations, an act is drawn up, and in case of systematic non-fulfillment of obligations, the contract may be terminated by the DLO without the possibility of participation in future procurements.

The DLO is also purchasing enhanced daily field packs for servicemen for the first Time. They provide for three meals a day in conditions where it is not possible to cook food.

The Ministry of Defense has also set requirements for the caloric content of products supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This decision was made after inspections of military units during which shortcomings in the supply of products with insufficient caloric content were identified.
