This is stated in the message, and citizens are asked to take this information into account when planning their travels.
We remind you that the EU is introducing a new entry system to the Schengen Area - EES. It will be launched on November 10 at all EU borders.
The initial planning for the launch of EES was in 2022, but due to technical problems and delays in installing automated barriers at the borders of the Schengen Area, it was rescheduled.
When the new system comes into effect, travelers from non-EU countries will undergo border checks differently.
Recently, border guards discovered a Hungarian citizen trying to smuggle drugs into Ukraine. He hid the prohibited substances throughout the car's interior.
