Diplomat explained how the war in Ukraine changed Serbs.

The situation of the war between Ukraine and Serbia is gradually changing in favor of Ukraine. Even the government of Serbia considers us their friends, but does not understand why Russia is acting aggressively against us. Volodymyr Tokach, the ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia, stated this.
Tokach claims that Ukraine and Serbia are actively restoring their intergovernmental ties, and the position of the Serbs in the war is slowly changing in favor of Ukraine.
The ambassador explained that locals are beginning to ask questions about whether Ukraine's European aspirations were one of the reasons for the start of the war. He also explained that the main difference between Ukraine and Serbia is that we share a common border with Russia.
Tokach emphasizes that explaining the situation is quite a difficult task, especially due to the influence of pro-Russian media.
Additionally, due to sanctions against Russia, Serbia decided to terminate contracts for the purchase of Russian weapons and transfer equipment to Ukraine worth over €8 million.
