For veterans and their families, the application process for utility payment has been simplified: how to do it.

You can submit an application online without unnecessary bureaucracy to receive benefits for veterans and their relatives. This was reported by the Communications Department of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

In the simplified application, war veterans need to provide less information, as data is collected through electronic information interaction between state registers.

In addition to veterans, family members can also submit a simplified application for utility payments.

This can be done:

• at the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
• online through the Fund's electronic services web portal;
• by mail - to the address of the PFU authority.

Step-by-step instructions:

• Step 1: Go to the Fund's portal and log in using a qualified electronic signature.
• Step 2: In your personal account, on the left panel in the Communications with PFU section, select the option Application for housing subsidy or benefit.
• Step 3: Familiarize yourself with the information in the pop-up window and click the Continue button.
• Step 4: In the field that opens, select the option Application for accounting of war veterans and granting them benefits under the experimental project.
• Step 5: Fill out the online form that appears on the screen: specify the person submitting the application, add general information about the beneficiary (including passport and address details), add the data of the documents regarding the benefits, bank details, etc.
• Step 6: Optionally, if available, add scanned copies of documents that may affect the benefit using the Add file option.
• Give consent for the transmission and processing of personal data by ticking the appropriate box and click the Generate statement button.
• Step 7: Check the data of the generated application and send it to the Pension Fund of Ukraine by clicking the Sign and send to PFU button.

The result of the application for the appointment of benefits can be checked in the My Appeals section - Status of the appeal.
