Help for the Victim: Kulpa Discusses Trump's Next Steps in Negotiations.

Former Secretary of the Polish delegation to NATO Parliament Piotr Kulpa talked about the actions the US will take in negotiations.
According to him, US President Donald Trump threatened to withdraw from the negotiation process if a peaceful agreement is not reached. However, it is worth not taking these statements too seriously.
Kulpa noted that Trump did not show interest in negotiations; they were merely an opportunity for the US administration to find a benefit for themselves.
'I believe that there is actually no negotiation process. It is just an excuse for him to negotiate with Putin. In other words, the so-called policeman is negotiating with a bandit under the pretext of helping the victim. Trump has never been interested in creating a just peace for Ukraine; he thinks about how to save Russia,' Kulpa stated.
The diplomat noted that the US uses the topic of ending the war to restore relations with Russia in the business sphere. However, they do not help Ukraine achieve peace and are not a 'neutral party.' The actions of the White House strengthen Moscow and weaken Kyiv.
Kulpa believes that there is a risk for Ukraine, but the situation is not hopeless. There is a coalition of countries supporting Ukraine and influencing the US. He hopes that Trump will change his policy and support Ukraine again.
