A night explosion occurred near the oil depot in Oryol
On the night of December 13 to 14, a series of strong explosions occurred near a local oil depot in the city of Oryol. According to 'Khyly' information, local residents reported these explosions via Telegram channels. Eyewitnesses noted that they heard at least three powerful explosions. However, local authorities, including law enforcement and rescuers, did not confirm anything regarding these events.
'Preliminary data indicates that a UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to attack the local oil depot,' it was stated in a report from one of the resources.
Eyewitnesses also reported that the series of explosions began at 23:40 Kyiv Time and lasted until 00:30 on Saturday, December 14. Following the first explosions, a convoy of rescue vehicles headed to the Northern district of the city, and helicopters also started operating.
Despite calls not to film this, people continue to publish videos on social networks that clearly show the explosions and fire. According to eyewitness accounts, at least one tank caught fire on the territory of the oil depot.
The Governor of the Oryol region, Andriy Klychkov, later reported that this night turned out to be restless for the region. 'As a result of downed drones, the glazing of several private houses was damaged. Emergency services are on site and are taking measures to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack. There are no casualties or injuries,' he reported.
Let us recall that Ukraine successfully repelled one of the largest Russian attacks on the energy system.
