Two countries will help Ukraine defend against Russian aggression in cyberspace.


France and Canada adopted a joint declaration in which they decided to help Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression in cyberspace. The document was agreed during a meeting between Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron in Ottawa on September 26. The leaders called for cooperation to strengthen the partnership in the field of defense and security.
According to the declaration, the Armed Forces of France and Canada will continue to cooperate with Ukraine on cybersecurity issues. They intend to support Ukraine in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity against Russian aggression in cyberspace.
France and Canada also declared their determination to promote the principles of the UN Charter and crisis management, including the cybernetic sphere. They will also strengthen cooperation in defense and security with the goal of supporting Ukraine, ensuring stability in the Indo-Pacific region, and combating foreign interference.
