Ukrainian Armed Forces participant, Sergeant of the 109th Battalion Yegor Firsov, published an interesting story on his Facebook page about an incident that happened to him during a mission in Ukraine.

«I set out on an important mission to northern Ukraine, entered the address into the navigator, turned on a podcast, and drove straight ahead. Approximately when I got close to the destination, I looked at my phone and saw that the navigator showed I was in Lipetsk in enemy territory,» Firsov shared.

Firsov realized that his navigator had been intercepted by a distributed electronic warfare (EW) device and decided to ask local residents to find out where he actually was. An old man told him that they were in Voronezh. At first, Firsov thought the man was joking, but when he asked the same question to a grandmother, she also confirmed that they were in Voronezh.

«I stopped for a moment. During that Time, I realized that the navigator showed Lipetsk, but the border was indeed close. A second person confirmed that we were really in Voronezh. And when I saw that the car numbers belonged to our country, the tongues immediately were untied. But in fact, it was the village of Voronizh in Ukraine. About 10 thousand people live there, and it is also the birthplace of Panteleimon Kulish. In our country, you can always find something new,» Firsov wrote.

Earlier, Firsov talked about Ukraine's victory in the war. He also shared his story of how he managed to make a North Korean fighter, who fought on the side of the Russian Federation in Kursk, surrender.
