Former Deputy Minister Charged with Abuses of Almost 30 Million.


The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have charged the former Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy with abuse of office. According to the investigation, in 2018, this official and the former deputy head of the district administration forged official documents to obtain budget funds for a crop production enterprise. The funds, amounting to 27 million UAH, were allocated as compensation for costs related to planting material.
This money was contributed as charter capital for their own enterprise.
One of the individuals involved in the case is Volodymyr Topchiy.
In August 2023, NABU and SAP announced charges against high-ranking officials in the case of procurement abuses. At that Time, among the individuals involved were the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food and the former Deputy Minister of Economy. At that moment, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy was Taras Vysotsky.
In the spring of 2024, NABU announced the exposure of large-scale embezzlement of state land by the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Mykola Solskyi.
