The EU has officially approved the allocation of 4.2 billion euros to Ukraine as part of the Ukraine Facility program.


The Council of the European Union has officially approved providing Ukraine with the next tranche of macro-financial assistance amounting to 4.2 billion euros. This decision was made on Tuesday as part of the Ukraine Facility program.
This was reported on the official page of the Presidency of Hungary in the EU Council in 2024 on social network X.
The assistance will be provided in the form of a combination of grants and loans aimed at supporting Ukraine's macro-financial stability and ensuring the functioning of public administration.
It was previously reported which conditions Ukraine has met to receive this financial assistance from the EU.
Additionally, Ukraine Facility is a new European Union instrument created to provide sustainable financial support to Ukraine from 2024 to 2027. The total support volume can reach 50 billion euros, which will be used for the recovery, reconstruction, and modernization of the country, as well as support reforms necessary for obtaining EU membership.
