Finland made a statement regarding the sending of peacekeepers to Ukraine.

Finland supports the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine
Finnish President Petteri Orpo stated that his country supports a peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine but does not plan to send its military forces to participate in a peacekeeping mission. This was reported by the Suomenmaa website.
Orpo also noted that Europe should play the main role in the process of Ukraine's recovery and promoting its European path, as well as in peacekeeping initiatives. To this end, Finland offers a number of measures to support the peace process.
«Our president has been very active in this area. We are ready to participate in any way that suits us, but we will not send soldiers to Ukraine», he said, explaining that Finland cannot take risks due to its proximity to Russia.
«It would be risky if Finnish soldiers faced soldiers from the neighboring country. Therefore, our government's position is clear», the Prime Minister noted.
It was previously reported that a document obtained by European intelligence during peace negotiations stated that Russia made strict demands. The document claimed that Trump’s plans to achieve peace in 100 days are unrealistic and that a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine will be impossible until 2026.
According to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin may express his position on the situation in Ukraine during a joint press conference.
