In France, the court has sentenced Dominique Pelico for the rape of his wife Giselle Pelico. The man received a 20-year prison sentence. In this case, another 50 men were also convicted. The trial lasted since September.
According to accusations, Dominique Pelico drugged his wife and formed a group with other men who sexually assaulted her. The police arrested Pelico in 2020 when they discovered video evidence of his crimes.
The court sentenced Pelico and his accomplices to various prison terms. The trial was accompanied by protests in support of Giselle Pelico. She received significant public support for her bravery and openness in conducting the public trial.
