The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck at Russian facilities in Krasnodar Krai and Crimea
On the night of February 26, 2025, units of the unmanned system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and other components of the Defense Forces struck at strategic facilities of the Russian Federation in Krasnodar Krai and the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. This was reported by the General Staff referring to information from 'Gromadske'.
During the attack, the military airfields 'Saky' and 'Kacha', as well as the Tuapse oil refinery, were shelled.
The General Staff emphasizes that the Tuapse oil refinery processes approximately 12 million tons of oil per year, of which more than 90% is exported. The enterprise is an important source of support for the Russian occupation army.
According to the General Staff, at least 40 explosions were recorded near the oil refinery. Information about damage to the infrastructure of the refinery is still being clarified. Strikes on military and strategic facilities that provide military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine will continue - noted the General Staff.
Recall that drones attacked Krasnodar Krai in Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems allegedly destroyed and intercepted 128 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, of which 83 were in Krasnodar Krai.
This is one of the largest attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the city of Tuapse in history. The target of the attack was the port of Tuapse, where the 'Rosneft' oil refinery is located.
