The General Staff denies Russia's statement about Ukraine violating the energy truce

The Russian Ministry of Defense falsely accused Ukraine of violating ceasefire conditions regarding energy facilities. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During March 25-26, the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not attack Russian energy facilities in the Kursk and Bryansk regions, as well as on the territory of Crimea, which is temporarily occupied by Russia.

The General Staff notes that the Russian Ministry of Defense spreads false and unfounded accusations with the aim of prolonging the war and creating artificial tension.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russia continues to attack Ukraine on a large scale.

Russian aggression has already spread to Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Cherkasy, and other regions. Enterprises and civilian infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih have been damaged due to drone attacks. In Okhtyrka, houses, shops, and regular infrastructure were affected. Communities in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhia regions have also suffered from shelling.

Russia continues to attack Ukraine's energy facilities, disregarding promises to cease fire. Since March 18, Ukraine has recorded eight shellings of energy facilities.

Putin agreed to the idea of mutual refusal by Russia and Ukraine to strike at energy infrastructure for 30 days, at the suggestion of U.S. President Donald Trump. However, the Russians baselessly continue to attack, already an hour after the agreement, their army violated the truce by shelling a critical facility in Sloviansk.

At the same Time, U.S. Special Representative Steve Witkoff refused to recognize Russia's violations of agreements regarding Ukraine's energy infrastructure after the conversation between Trump and Putin.

An official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that Kyiv violated the truce proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
