The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports the use of electronic warfare tools to counter air attacks by Russian invaders.
The military uses GPS satellite navigation coordinate spoofing technologies for more effective resistance against the enemy. This may lead to disruptions in the precise Time system on mobile phones, which are updated automatically.
"A side effect of this influence is disruptions in the precise time system used by mobile phones for automatic time correction," stated the electronic warfare specialists at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The military advises citizens to turn off the automatic time update function on their phones and consider possible GPS malfunctions during air alarms.
