Restrictions are due to damages to energy facilities resulting from missile strikes by Russia.
Currently, repair work is ongoing, and energy workers are trying to restore the operation of damaged facilities as soon as possible.
It should also be noted that the timing and volume of restrictions may change throughout the day. To get up-to-date information about outage schedules in your area, visit the Ukrenergo website or its official social media pages.
We remind you that overnight on November 28, Russia carried out a massive shelling of Ukraine, during which energy facilities and infrastructure were damaged. This led to power outages for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians.
Currently, the situation in the energy sector is controlled by Ukrenergo dispatchers, and while it remains complicated, it is still under control.
Additionally, Ukraine continues to reduce electricity import volumes despite the increase in consumption and the introduction of restrictions. Energy market analysts at ExPro Consulting reported that in November 2024, electricity imports amounted to about 165,000 MWh, which is 9% less than in October.
