Bread prices will rise every month: expert named the growth limit.

Ukraine will witness a gradual increase in prices for mass varieties of bread, but this increase will be moderate and will not exceed 1.5-2% monthly. This statement was made by expert Oleg Pendzin during a broadcast on Kyiv24 TV channel.
'The prices for mass varieties of bread are quite clearly controlled by the state,' Pendzin noted.
According to him, this price increase is related to the fact that the price for bread for mass consumption is controlled by the state. Producers often compensate their costs for producing more expensive products to avoid burdening Ukrainians.
'Bread producers, in order not to exceed the expenses of Ukrainians, often redirect additional costs to the production of other products, such as pastries, cakes, premium baked goods, and cookies,' the expert explained.
Pendzin also noted that the maximum price increase for mass varieties of bread in 2022 was about 1.8-2% per month.
The expert urged citizens not to panic about the possible increase in bread prices, emphasizing the social responsibility of bread producers.
Earlier, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy explained the reasons for the delay in sowing.
