Deputy Minister of Defense: local authorities are responsible for mobilization

The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Ivan Havryliuk, stated that territorial centers for recruitment and social support are only responsible for accounting for those mobilized and for the selection and replenishment of the Defense Forces. The search for draft evaders is the responsibility of local authorities and law enforcement agencies.

Havryliuk emphasized that it is wrong to think that the TCK is responsible for mobilization. The law on mobilization clearly establishes the roles and responsibilities of all participants in the process, including government bodies and the police. If conscripts do not appear at the TCK, local authorities and the police must ensure their delivery.

The Deputy Minister also stressed that local self-government bodies should conduct explanatory work among the population to understand the importance of defending the country.

Military expert Ivan Havryliuk emphasized that without mobilization, the country will be lost, regardless of how many robotic systems and weapons are available. Everything depends on the person.

Havryliuk drew attention to the spread of negative information about TCK employees, noting that such trends are unacceptable.

Monetary payments for voluntary enlistment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada is developing a system of monetary payments to encourage voluntary enlistment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There are also plans to encourage men who have not reached the draft age to volunteer for the Armed Forces of Ukraine by introducing a system of motivational contracts.
