The story of the parking inspector who fined a deputy received an unexpected continuation: details.

National deputy Ihor Marchuk reacted to a publication in 'Hlavkom' that mentioned the judicial punishment of the parking inspector who fined the deputy. Marchuk expressed his outrage and stated that he was ready to pay the fine of 17 thousand hryvnias instead of the inspector.
'I sincerely thank Mykola Shevchuk for his principled position regarding the documentation of my violation. He honestly fulfilled his duties as a responsible person. I praised him for this and suggested taking a photo to inspire others and spread his example of responsibility,' the deputy said.
Marchuk emphasized that the inspector was punished not for fining the deputy, but for the illegal use of police insignia on his uniform. He also noted that such use was unlawful.
'Did Mykola have the right to use police insignia? No. Was it legal? Obviously, no. But was it worth bringing this situation to court, spending state funds, and demonstrating 'work' in such cases, which, in my opinion, could have been resolved through a normal conversation with Mykola and his superiors regarding uniform standards and the illegal use of signs resembling the uniform of the National Police of Ukraine,' wrote the deputy.
Let us remind you that the parking inspector Mykola Shevchuk was fined 17 thousand hryvnias for the illegal use of insignia of the National Police.
As reported by 'Hlavkom', deputy Yuriy Boyko was fined 5.1 thousand hryvnias for violating the submission of the financial report of his political party.
