Italy has responded whether it will send its troops to Ukraine.

Italy refuses to send its soldiers to fight in Ukraine
The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, stated that their country will not send its military to the front in the war in Ukraine. However, Italy will continue to provide Ukraine with political, financial, and military assistance. This decision was made to avoid further escalation of the conflict.
The minister emphasized the serious responsibility of Russia, which involves foreign mercenaries and soldiers in the war. Russia bears full responsibility for the situation in Ukraine.
In addition, Italy refused Ukraine's application of its weapons outside its territory. Italian troops will only operate on Ukrainian territory. The country will also allocate €200 million for the restoration of the Ukrainian power grid, which has been damaged by shelling from Russia.
