Kadyrov is plundering Mariupol and exporting expensive equipment – advisor to the city mayor.

Kadyrovites are plundering Mariupol
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is engaged in the plundering of occupied Mariupol. The priority is equipment that is sold for a lot of money, although it will not function fully – it is disassembled into components. In addition, Kadyrovites are massively exporting scrap metal on an industrial scale. Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko
According to Andryushchenko, Kadyrovites have removed all dismantled equipment from the Ilyich plant and sold it for a lot of money. Sometimes, even the manufacturers themselves do not have access to it due to sanctions.
However, this equipment will not work fully – it is stolen for repairs, planning to replace nodes and mechanisms, as spare parts cannot be imported due to imposed restrictions.
The second scheme that Kadyrovites implement involves the export of scrap metal on an industrial scale. Recently, two bulkers fully loaded with scrap left the port in Mariupol, and new ships are expected.
The Guardian's investigation
The Guardian is conducting a major investigation into Kadyrov and his finances in the occupied territory.
Therefore, there is restrained optimism that finally, after these studies, the scrap metal will be subject to sanctions. And ownership of the Ilyich plant will turn into nothing, like in "Cinderella", Petropolis Andryushchenko emphasized.
Metallurgical industry...
By the way, Russia's metallurgical industry has started to decline. Only steel smelting has fallen by 10% compared to last year, and this is just the beginning, says the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.
By the way, Russian occupiers are building a railway branch to shorten the supply route of military equipment to the front line from Rostov-on-Don to Mariupol and Volnovakha. This is reported by the Mariupol city council.
Earlier, Ukrainian forces struck Russian ammunition depots near Mariupol. Russia's "Radio Liberty" showed images showing the consequences of fires and ammunition detonations in three different locations on the outskirts of Mariupol.
