Recall that the men's team of Ukraine in biathlon won a bronze medal at the World Cup in the Czech town of Nové Město.
Before the start of the relay, bookmakers and experts predicted that our team would fight for a place in the top 10. However, our guys created a real sports miracle, finishing in third place.
Our team's competitors included Artem Tyschenko, Vitalii Mandzyn, Anton Dudchenko, and Dmytro Pidruchnyi.
Artem Tyschenko was the first to enter the distance. He used two additional cartridges in the 'lying' and 'standing' shooting and passed the relay in ninth place.
Vitalii Mandzyn passed the relay in 10th place.
Anton Dudchenko missed all 10 targets without additional cartridges and finished his stage in fifth place.
Finally, Dmytro Pidruchnyi entered the distance. He used one additional cartridge in the 'lying' and 'standing' shooting. After the last shot, he set off on the distance in third place and managed to finish in third place.
This bronze medal became Ukraine's first award at the World Cups in the last three seasons. The last time Ukrainians received medals was in the 2021/22 season, when Daria Blashko and Artem Tyschenko also won bronze in single mixed.
