Just a few steps: Vodafone explains how Ukrainians can avoid SIM card fraud.

The mobile company Vodafone Ukraine has explained how to avoid SIM card fraud.
One of the most common forms of telecommunications fraud is SIM card fraud. Fraudsters use various schemes to gain unauthorized access to your phone number.
Once they gain access to your number, fraudsters can intercept SMS messages with confirmation codes for banking operations, access social media and email accounts, make calls and send messages on your behalf, as well as use your number to register on dubious websites.
Vodafone offers an effective solution to protect against such fraudulent schemes. Connecting to a contract plan provides an additional level of protection for your number and ensures uninterrupted communication even with a zero balance.
To connect to a secure plan, you need to open the My Vodafone app, go to the 'Buy a new number' section, review the available contract plans, choose the appropriate plan, and sign a contract through 'Diya' (all actions with eSIM/SIM will be performed using your passport).
The process of connecting to a secure plan is completely online and takes minimal Time. Payment is made on the 1st of each month, eliminating the need to track 28-day cycles or receive reminders about topping up your account.
Additionally, if needed, you can contact a live operator instead of a robot.
