Power outage schedules in Ukraine
On Monday, December 9, Ukrenergo will implement unified power outage schedules. This was reported by the company's press service. For household consumers, electricity will be turned off for one shift from 08:00 to 19:00. Industry and business will be limited to power restrictions from 07:00 to 20:00.
The significant reason for this was the cyberattack on November 28. Ukrenergo emphasized that thanks to their recovery efforts, they are gradually resolving the issues that arose. 'Repair work continues. Energy workers are working to restore the equipment damaged by the enemy as soon as possible,' the company reported.
Information about the outage schedules may change throughout the day. Updated information can be found on the official social media pages and the company's official website. In addition, it is important to avoid turning on several powerful electrical appliances simultaneously when electricity returns as scheduled.
Ukrainians were also given advice on how to protect their refrigerators during power outages.
