Lithuanian artist created a provocative sculpture of Putin.

In Lithuania, the author created a caricature sculpture of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin
Lithuanian artist and sculptor Martynas Gaubas presented his new work at the beginning of the third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He created a sculpture titled 'Chuylo'. This news was reported by LRT.
This work is a message not only to Putin himself but to the whole world.
According to the artist, he created the sketch of the sculpture at the beginning of the war and published it on Facebook three days after the invasion began. Gaubas did not expect the war to last so long, but when it became clear, he decided to bring his idea to fruition on this date, the third anniversary of the invasion.
The shape of the sculpture is intentionally simple and easily recognizable.
The sculpture depicts Putin in the form of a grotesque male genitalia. The helmet symbolizes Putin's presence in the bunker and his blindness and deafness to the crimes occurring around him.
The sculpture aims to convey an important message not only to Lithuanians but to citizens of Russia as well.
The artist emphasized that the sculpture is a means of confronting fear and propaganda. He initiated a vote to determine where best to place his work. Voting can be done using a QR code on the trailer transporting the sculpture.
This makes Kaunas a unique city, and it will be interesting to see if the work achieves similar success in other cities.
The artist is considering various options for the future of the sculpture - from displaying it in museums to dumping it in a landfill.
Let us remind you that recently an exhibition titled 'the f…ing turnstiles' was held in Kyiv, showcasing some failed tactics.
