The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has launched the electronic system 'eHemp'.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine will launch the eHemp system on March 10, 2025. It is designed to improve state agrarian policy, restore Ukraine's leadership in the field of industrial hemp cultivation, and prevent corruption.
Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Vitaliy Koval noted that the system will help develop the sector, as the use of industrial hemp spans a wide range from light and food industries to the pulp and paper industry.
The main advantage of the eHemp system is the publicity and openness of the industrial hemp market. This will lead to an increase in the number of companies engaged in the sowing, cultivation, and processing of hemp for industrial purposes.
Among the modules available to legal entities in the eHemp system are the registration module for economic entities, land management module, sowing and harvest module, laboratory research module, and others.
The system integrates with state registers and systems, such as the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the State Register of Rights to Immovable Property, the State Land Cadastre, and others.
To register in the Register, it is enough to have a qualified electronic signature and submit an application through the system's electronic cabinet.
Additionally, the new system simplifies the activities of legal entities in the field of industrial hemp cultivation. Now, to cultivate these plants, there is no need to obtain licenses and quotas; it is enough to register in the Register of legal entities engaged in such activities.
We remind that in Kyiv, police discovered a greenhouse with hemp in an apartment.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has updated licensing conditions for the circulation of medical cannabis.
